Meet Renee Terry

Renee Terry is the owner and cookie artist behind Sweet Cheeks, a brand built at the intersection of artistry, grit, and real life. She started her business 11 years ago in her parent’s kitchen shortly after the birth of her son, originally as a way to help pay the bills. What began as necessity quickly became a creative calling.

Over the years, Renee grew her business alongside her family. She bought her first home, welcomed a second child, and continued to evolve her work while balancing motherhood and entrepreneurship. In 2020, when her husband was laid off, Renee pivoted her business online, launching digital courses and becoming the sole provider for her family. That chapter reshaped not just her business, but her confidence as a leader and educator.

Today, Renee travels across the country teaching cookie artists how to elevate their craft and build sustainable businesses. In 2023, she opened her brick-and-mortar storefront in Amesbury, MA, and in 2025 launched her Mini Manager Program, a community-focused initiative designed to empower kids through leadership, creativity, and small business experience.

Renee’s work is rooted in more than cookies. It reflects resilience, adaptability, and the belief that success can be both ambitious and deeply human. As a woman, artist, wife, and mom, she brings honesty, humor, and hard-earned insight to everything she teaches, making her voice one that resonates far beyond the kitchen.
